Terms of Service

2.1 Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using any game or service from Otsunuma Studios, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.


2.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf.


2.3 Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@otsunuma.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

  • share, sell, or transfer your account;
  • create an account using false information;
  • operate more than one account to gain unfair advantage, unless expressly permitted.

2.4 License to use the game

Otsunuma Studios grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play our games for your own non-commercial entertainment. All games, code, art, audio, characters, trademarks, and other content remain the property of Otsunuma Studios or its licensors.

You may not:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the game except as permitted by law;
  • cheat, use bots, exploit bugs, or interfere with game servers;
  • copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content;
  • extract or scrape data from our Services.

2.5 In-app purchases and virtual items

Our games may offer in-app purchases for virtual currency, items, cosmetics, or subscriptions ("Virtual Items").

  • Virtual Items have no real-world value and cannot be redeemed, refunded, or exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
  • Purchases are final. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies. In limited cases (e.g., technical failure to deliver an item), contact hello@otsunuma.com within 14 days and we'll review.
  • You license, not own, all Virtual Items. Your license ends when your account ends or the game is discontinued.
  • Virtual currency may expire if your account is inactive for 24 months.
  • We may change prices, availability, or the underlying balance of Virtual Items as the game evolves.

2.6 Subscriptions (if applicable)

Subscriptions renew automatically through the App Store or Google Play at the price in effect at renewal, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's store settings.


2.7 Multiplayer and user conduct

When using multiplayer, chat, or community features, you agree not to:

We may remove content, mute, suspend, or ban accounts that violate these rules. We may also cooperate with law enforcement.

  • harass, threaten, or abuse other players;
  • use hate speech, slurs, or content that is sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable;
  • share personal information of others;
  • cheat, exploit, or use unauthorized third-party software;
  • post spam, scams, phishing, or malware;
  • impersonate Otsunuma staff or other players.

2.8 User-generated content

If our games let you post names, messages, or other content, you grant Otsunuma a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and moderate that content as needed to operate the Services. You confirm you have the right to post it.


2.9 Updates and availability

We may update, change, or discontinue games and features at any time. We'll give reasonable notice for major changes or shutdowns, but we do not guarantee any particular game will remain available indefinitely.


2.10 Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Otsunuma disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.


2.11 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Otsunuma's total liability arising out of or related to the Services in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in that period, or (b) INR 5,000. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost progress, lost Virtual Items, or lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (e.g., gross negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights).


2.12 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Otsunuma against claims arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.


2.13 Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time and delete your account through in-game settings or by contacting hello@otsunuma.com. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, legal reasons, or to protect our Services or other players.


2.14 Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rules that give you rights in your home country, disputes will be resolved by the courts of Surat, Gujarat, India.

Before filing a claim, please contact hello@otsunuma.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.


2.15 Apple and Google store terms

If you download the game through the Apple App Store or Google Play, additional terms from Apple or Google apply. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to applicable sanctions restrictions. Apple and Google are not responsible for the game or for any claims relating to it; they are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce these Terms against you to the extent of their platform requirements.
